Underneath a Panther's Black Fur
A 21 Year-Old's Life
Published on February 9, 2005 By Pantherchic In Welcome
I grew up as the only girl in my family, and I'm the oldest. This made me the guinea pig child. I got my own room, but all things were tried on me first. It wasn't that bad, but it seemed to me that my little bothers always got things a bit easier. It was nice in a way though. Being able to do things first was always a great bragging point.

I was raised in an all mormon family. When I was 8, I got baptised, went to church ever sunday and youth activities every wednesday. When I got into high school I started to think outside the religion. There was a lot of conflict between me and members of my family. I became inactive and eventually moved out.

Moving out was probably the best thing that I ever did. My dad and I weren't always at each-others throats and my nocturnal habits didn't wake everyone up at four o'clock in the morning. I lived with my best friend for a few months, my grandparents for a few months, and then inadvertently moved in with a friend of mine. My friend and I ended becoming a couple and got married almost five months ago. He's the best thing that has ever happened to me. We have quite a history but thats another story.

I've worked at the same job for the last 2 1/2 years. Most of the hours I work are 8pm-4am five days a week. I am a young girl and my job is like working at my high school. Most of the people I work with are older, yet they have the social mentality of most of the people I was in school with. The rumour mill works better there than an other I've seen. According to the stories I am a lesbian, slept with half (if not all) of the bosses and most of the guys that work there. Neither of those stories is true. it amuses me on a daily basis of all the stories that go around that place.

I'm married with a dog of my own, one of my hubby's and a small little apartment. I'm 21 and he's 26. We make eachother happy, work full time and the world continues to turn.

Well, that's an introduction to me. I'll be writing more, but that's what I've got for you for now.

welcome! Glad to see you decided to write..i will be anticipating the next one!

I heard through the rumour mill about you moving out, moving in with G'parents etc...they just left out the why. Everything was sanitized..."Oh, well, I guess she needed something new. She's growing up....." It's interesting to realize just how much people leave out when they want something to look a certain way.....

I'm so happy to have feedback. It wasn't only the religion thing. But, it was definetly a big factor
